Apply for Funding
The Jennings Family Fund offers small micro-grants (between $100 and $1,000) to youth sports teams or similar programs. We know for many grass-roots organizations, a little money can go a long way - in this 5-minute application, help us understand how we can help you help your team.
Before you apply:
We're excited to hear about your team and project - and how we can help! Before applying, please be aware of the following requirements, and how our selection process works:
Requirements
-
Applicants must represent a youth sports team, league, school program, or community sports organization serving athletes typically under age 18. This may include coaches, administrators, school staff, or parents supporting a youth team.
-
Applications should request funding for a clear, tangible project that supports youth athletes. This may include balls, practice cones, or other team equipment; upgrades or repairs to practice spaces, like nets; or participation support/scholarships for in-need players. Please note that we do not fund general operating expenses.
-
Funding currently only available to applicants within the United States or Canada.
Application Process
-
We accept applications on an ongoing basis. There is a short, 5-minute application for funding, where you'll share a few details about the organization you represent and the project you're seeking funding for.
-
We consider all applications at the end of the month they're submitted, and aim to make a final decision - and distribute grants - by the end of the following month.
-
If your project is selected, we’ll contact you by email to confirm the details of your project and arrange payment. From there, just use the money for the project or equipment described in your application!
-
We always enjoy seeing how the grant helped your team. If you’re able, please send a photo or short update once the equipment arrives or the project is complete. From time to time, we may highlight funded projects on our website or social media to show how the grants are helping youth sports programs.
Please note that we have a limited budget each month, and we are not able to fund every project we receive. When selecting grants, we may prioritize projects with the greatest impact, or choose several smaller projects so that we can support as many youth sports programs as possible.
